Helsinki Photography Biennial 2014 Started Off Successfully – Last Week to See Exhibition at L3 Warehouse and the Central Railway Station

Helsinki Photography Biennial opened on 26 March 2014 with a series of three opening events in Photographic Gallery Hippolyte, the Finnish Museum of Photography and L3 Warehouse. Since the opening festivities gathering large numbers of guests, the biennial has kicked off successfully. Especially the exhibitions at Helsinki Central Railway Station and the Helsinki University Library (Kaisa House) have been seen by hundreds of visitors daily. There were also many participants interested in art and research for the HPB14 Seminar at the Cable Factory on 29 March, which sought to deepen the theme of the biennial.

Some of HPB14 exhibitions are open for the last week: Ecological Fallacy + Objects on Oil Exhibition at L3 Warehouse in Jätkäsaari (Tyynenmerenkatu 6) will close 13 April and Barbaros Kayan’s works at the central railway station are on display until 10 April.

All other exhbitions are open at least until the end of April. Free entry to all exhbition venues, except for The Finnish Museum of Photography. Opening times and addresses for all exhibitions
